Usually a club secretary will be responsible for notifying
members about events, dates and times, and other pertinent
information. SMS is an excellent medium for confirming last
minute arrangements.
The cost savings to a club can be significant. Group members
together as is suitable, then send an SMS to the group in
one go, at lower cost and in just a few seconds.
If an answer is needed, add this at the end, to whom an RSVP
should be made and by when. If you need more space, send two
messages.
It will still work out cheaper than phone calls to all members
and probably as or more effective than mailings. |

| Once
all your regular contacts are loaded on to SMS Wizard, you
should be able to dramatically reduce your telephone bill.
Close to 80% of economically active South Africans have a
cellphone. Their are many phone calls which are made every
day which could easily be replaced with an SMS. Once you are
using the program you will see that it takes no longer to
do this than calling. Left click on the client, select 'Send
New SMS' and type. Click send. Messages are placed in your
SMS Wizard Outbox until you are ready send.
One local call plus the
SMS costs, will work out substantially lower than all the
individual calls, especially if a lot of them are to cellphones.
You also prevent the phone from being tied up and indeed,
your time on the phone. Prompts about outstanding accounts
can also save on telephone and postage bills.
Once
your clients are grouped as you would like, it takes no
more effort to send the message to one client then to hundreds!
Remember that with a contract, your SMS allowance does not
expire at the end of each month - save them up for when
it suits you to do a big 'contact'. For example, if your
business is moving or you have a new service, you can tell
all your clients in just a few minutes!!
